Signing up for a Slash account: items you should have handy before starting an application

Slash Products

You will need to provide different information based on which Slash products you're applying for. Slash offers three main products:

  1. Global USD / Crypto Payments: get a US account + routing number, plus the ability to send and receive USDC and USDT payments without a US company.

  2. Business Banking: This product gives you access to our end to end business banking platform including corporate cards, working capital, accounting, and more.

  3. Treasury: This product gives you the opportunity to earn up to 4.4% yield by investing in TSTXX, a BlackRock money market fund

Required Materials for Global USD (for non US companies)

To submit an application to Slash, you should have the following items handy:

  1. Basic Business Information (business name, date of incorporation, phone number, address)

  2. Proof of address (business) - for the physical location where your company does business.

  3. Proof of address (personal) - for the residences of the beneficial owners on the account (if not in the US).

  4. Driver's license or government ID - for all beneficial owners on the account. Non US residents must have a passport handy.

  5. Articles of incorporation for your business - the documents you were issued when your company was formed.

  6. Two credit card or bank statements - from another institution to substantiate projected activity.

  7. Proof of Operating Activity - This document demonstrates that your business is actively operating and generating revenue.

Required Materials for Business Banking / Treasury (for US companies)

To submit an application to Slash, you should have the following items handy:

  1. Basic Business Information (business name, date of incorporation, phone number, address)

  2. Proof of address (business) - for the physical location where your company does business.

  3. Proof of address (personal) - for the residences of the beneficial owners on the account (if not in the US - no need for US beneficial owners).

  4. Driver's license or government ID - for all beneficial owners on the account. Non US residents must have a passport handy.

  5. Articles of incorporation for your business - the documents you were issued when your company was formed.

  6. Two credit card or bank statements - from another institution to substantiate projected activity.

  7. Proof of Operating Activity - This document demonstrates that your business is actively operating and generating revenue.

  8. [if in DE or NJ] Certificate of Good Standing - it can be the $10 one that shows what your current standing is.

Slash is currently only open to incorporated US entities (LLCs, Limited Partnerships, C Corps, and S Corps).

Restricted Countries List

Business Banking and Treasury is available only to US businesses.

Global USD is available to all businesses except those that are incorporated in one of the following countries:

  • Cuba

  • Iran, Islamic Republic of

  • Myanmar
