Security is a top priority at Slash. To help protect your account and sensitive banking actions, we offer support for Two-Factor Authentication (2FA). Enabling 2FA adds an extra layer of protection by requiring a verification code from your chosen authenticator app, in addition to your regular login credentials.

This guide explains how to enable and disable 2FA from your personal settings.

Enabling two-factor authentication

  1. From your homepage, navigate to your company name in the top-left corner and click Personal Settings.

  2. In the Account and Security section, locate the two-factor authentication setting and switch the toggle to enable it.

  3. You will be prompted to enter a verification code sent to your email and confirm your account password.

  4. Once verified, you’ll be shown a QR code to scan using your authenticator app (such as Google Authenticator, Duo, etc).

  5. Finally, enter the latest code from your authenticator app to complete setup.

Once completed, 2FA will be active for your account. You’ll be required to enter an authenticator code whenever you are logging in. Enabling 2FA ensures that only you — and not anyone else — can access and control your financial operations on Slash. We strongly recommend all users to set it up to keep their accounts secure.

Disabling two-factor authentication

  1. From your homepage, click your company name in the top-left and navigate to Personal Settings.

  2. In the Account and Security section, toggle off two-factor authentication.

  3. You will be prompted to:

    • Enter the verification code sent to your email

    • Confirm your current account password

    • Enter the latest code from your authenticator app

Once all three steps are complete, 2FA will be disabled for your account.
